Parasol - Type T Telescopic parasol

The telescopic parasoltype T is one of the most important parasol types of the MDT-tex collection. Its expansion mechanism can be greatly slimmed down through the use of solid aluminium and is extremely elegant thanks to these construction details. Functionality can also be maximised by the material: Spans from 10 ft  up to 120 ft in standard are possible with the telescopic glider; the larger models (from 23 x 23 ft) are equipped with electric drive. With suitable rain gutter membranes, several telescopic umbrellas can be flexibly formed into a fixed external roof. These product characteristics make the parasol type T one of the most sought-after parasol types for gastronomy and industry.

A constructive version with 80-mp/h wind safety is available for particularly windy areas in the mountains or by the sea. In this parasol variant, all critical parts such as mast and struts are reinforced or replaced by stainless steel.

The maintenance-free gearbox with lifting spindle located in the mast enables easy opening and closing of the parasol by means of a hand crank or optionally with electric drive.

Since the sunshade cover consists of individual segments and the covering is attached to the strut ends with rust-resistant screws, the cover can be easily replaced. When open, all strut parts can also be replaced. Alternatively, flounces can also be used.
