Parasol type S16

With the all-aluminium umbrella type S16 MDT-tex introduces a premium umbrella series, which focuses even more on design. The new Home collection, which includes the parasol type S16, has several advantages compared to the standard parasols, such as; a robust but at the same time lighter parasol ring made of solid aluminium, fabric-protecting strut ends, a simpler and handier tensioning system and an elegant cover for the crown of the parasol.

The new Home series combines the look and functionality of the parasols, while retaining the strength and quality of MDT-tex industrial parasols.

The balanced tensioning mechanism of the internal telescopic system ensures easy opening and closing of the parasol by means of an aluminium handle. Due to the integrated telescopic mast the parasol closes and opens at table height.

All materials used are water and corrosion resistant and the parasol type S16 is wind resistant up to 60 km/h with suitable ground anchoring.

With suitable gutter membranes, several S16 all-aluminium shades can be flexibly formed into a fixed external roofing.

The wreath is made of high-strength aluminium and contains connections for the strut mounting. All parts are bolted together. The frame, the strut end caps, the ring, the cover and the handle (anthracite) for the parasols are powder-coated.

Since the cover consists of single segments and the covering is fixed at the ends of the struts with rustproof screws, the cover of this parasol can be easily replaced. When open, all parts of the struts are also replaceable.
